OSU release - CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's cross country team delivered a standout performance at the WCC Championship at the brand-new Course Spokane Valley in Spokane Valley, Washington. In the first-ever race hosted at the venue, the Beavers placed third overall as a team. Leading the way for Oregon State was senior Sage Brooks, who placed 10th overall in 20:36.8. Close behind, Sydney Partyka finished 12th in 20:46.4, while Kate Laurent took 19th in 20:51.8, Ainsley Herron placed 21st in 20:54.9, and Ruby Broadbent crossed 23rd in 21:03.1 to complete the scoring five. The Beavers' top group combined for 85 team points, fueling their third-place finish. Adding to Oregon State's strength, Noemi Lundgren finished 26th in 21:12.4 and Maella Hodgson placed 30th in 21:33.6, with Molly Latincsics following in 37th at 21:54.1, Maya Baechler in 40th at 22:00.1, and Katie Kopec in 48th at 22:20.3. UP NEXT: The Beavs will travel to Sacramento, Calif. for the NCAA West Regionals on November 14th.

OSU release - CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State dominated from start to finish, beating Alaska-Fairbanks 104-27 in Sunday night's exhibition game. A team effort saw 12 players in the scoring column with 31 assists on 39 baskets. Defensively, OSU held the Nanooks to 17.7 percent shooting (11-of-62) and recorded 21 steals. Kennedie Shuler keyed the balanced offense and suffocating defense. The junior dished nine assists and added five steals. Tiara Bolden led all scorers with 22 points, adding six rebounds and four steals for a strong all-around effort. Ally Schimel resumed her role as on-court glue, finishing with nine points and a team-high plus-minus of +53. The game marked the Gill Coliseum debut for McKenzie Shivers, who missed 2024-25 due to a knee injury. Shivers entered in the second quarter and wasted little time making an impression, draining a three from the wing to the delight of the home crowd. Shivers was one of seven Beavs to make a first impression on Beaver Nation. Among them, Jenna Villa scored 17 points with six assists and freshman Lara Alonso-Basurto scored 20 points with seven rebounds. OSU release - PRINCETON, N.J. – The Oregon State wrestling team opened the season on Sunday at the Princeton Open, with three individual champions on the day. To go along with the three winners, the Beavers were well-represented around the invitational, with eight student-athletes placing from runner-up to sixth-place. Returning to the lineup after a redshirt season, Justin Rademacher (197) used three major decision wins on his way to a tournament title. Maximo Renteria (125) started his day with a dominant pin and rode the momentum to the championship while competing unattached, Daschle Lamer (174) conceded just one point in four bouts on the title chase. Oregon State will be back in action on November 16th when Utah Valley visits for the home opener. The first bout is set for 2 p.m.
