Description
Earlier in the season, The Oregonian/OregonLive made a list of the top softball catchers in the state, and asked subscribers for their thoughts on who is the best catcher in Oregon.
The poll was close, with North Medford’s Presley Lawton and Sprague’s Callie Stubbs coming up with 32.31% and 31.17% of the votes, respectively. Lawton, a future Oregon Duck, has the Black Tornado competing in a tough Southwest Conference. Stubbs is committed to Massachusetts Lowell as the Olympians are looking for a playoff spot.
