Description
The kindergartners in Josy Womack’s class at Vose Elementary in Beaverton have big plans and dreams: Among them are an aspiring soccer coach, spy, astronaut, firefighter and race car driver.
And on Thursday, they got the same good news that state Treasurer Elizabeth Steiner is trying to get across to all Oregon families with 5- or 6-year-olds: If the parents open a state college savings account and put in at least $25, Oregon will automatically add a bonus $100 for free.
