A Russian passenger on a United Airlines flight from Milan to Newark was arrested after biting and kicking a flight attendant when denied more alcohol, forcing the plane to divert. (AP Photo/Brian Kersey, File)

A United Airlines flight bound for New Jersey from Italy was diverted to Maine after a passenger became violent when a flight attendant refused to serve her more alcohol.
