Description

The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 6:56 p.m. on Wednesday for strong thunderstorms until 8 p.m. for Central Douglas County, Eastern Douglas County Foothills and South Central Oregon Cascades.

The storms could bring pea-sized hail (0.25 inches) and wind gusts of up to 50 mph.
