🚶 Pioneering Women Walking Tour | March 22 🚶
Step into the stories that shaped Albany during the Pioneering Women Walking Tour from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on March 22. This guided walk through Downtown Albany celebrates Women’s History Month by sharing the lives and legacies of influential local women.
The tour begins at the Albany Visitors Association (122 Ferry St. SW) and winds through downtown as our guide Marti Staprans Barlow, creator of the Albany Explorer App, shares the stories of women whose determination, creativity, and leadership helped shape the community. The experience concludes with a special visit to the Historic Carousel & Museum, where participants will enjoy a complimentary carousel ride and meet founder Wendy Kirbey.
Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot by calling 541-928-0911.
Can't make the walking tour? Download our free app, Albany Explorer, and take the tour on your own.
