Description

Students in Lincoln High School’s contemporary vocal ensemble, Vivace, perform at the International Championship of High School A Cappella West quarterfinals. “Choir is a big part of my life,” mezzo Flynn Fitzgerald said. Vivace, she said, “just keeps me singing.”

A group of 13 singers took the stage on an early May afternoon inside the Mt. Hood Community College theater. With a quick nod, members of Wilsonville High School group Soul’d Out, started their performance, bringing to life an a cappella edition of “Erase Me” by Lizzy McAlpine and Jacob Collier.
