A foie gras dish from Little Bird, the since-closed sister restaurant to Portland's award-winning Le Pigeon.

Portland city councilors on Thursday narrowly approved a ban on the sale of foie gras, the French delicacy made with the livers of force-fed waterfowl such as ducks or geese.
