Real estate developer and philanthropist Homer Williams, pictured April 10, 2018, alleges his longtime assistant plans to move the money offshore.

A Portland real estate stalwart is suing his longtime assistant and caregiver, alleging the younger man misappropriated more than $1 million with plans to transfer the money offshore.
