Augustin Regalado, a worker at Mole Mole, a food cart on North Mississippi Avenue, said temperatures became very hot while working on July 15.

After a 116-degree workday during 2021’s Pacific Northwest “heat dome” left the staff of Escape from New York Pizza more than exhausted, owner Phil Geffner hatched a plan: buy better air conditioning.
