There's no rain in the Portland forecast through Friday. The metro area should see warm, sunny days at least until the weekend. Oregonian file photo.

Easter was one for the record books, literally, as Portland hit 79 degrees (unofficially) - besting the old record on that date of 77 degrees set in 1977. Heat records were also tied or broken in Eugene, Salem, Hillsboro, and Vancouver.
