Description

A Portland man who attacked another man outside a downtown Portland apartment building, biting the man’s ear and leaving it dangling by a thread of skin, pleaded guilty Friday to menacing and attempted assault.

Devarn Maxwell, 42, was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with the opportunity for early release and probation, after spending 10 months in custody since the attack.
