An armed man sped away from police, crashed through a locked fence and drove into a Portland park before attempting to flee on foot in late December 2023. Police recovered a 9mm pistol with an extended magazine about 50 feet from where they arrested Jeray Anthony Bridges early on Dec. 19, 2023, according to a federal prosecutor.

An armed man who sped away from police, smashed through a locked fence and drove into a Portland park before attempting to flee on foot in December 2023 was sentenced Monday to more than three years in prison for being a felon with a gun.
