Lake Oswego captains Lusiano Lopez (58), Noah Uecker (55), Oliver Macy (5) and Liam Davis (10) walk out to midfield during the game between Lake Oswego and Tualatin on Friday, Oct. 4, 2024 at Lake Oswego High School.

A linebacker for one of the state’s top football teams this past fall is staying home.
