A season which included a Big Sky regular season title and league MVP honors for star guard Terri Miller Jr. will not include a trip to the NCAA tournament for Portland State.
The No. 1 seed Vikings lost, 75-72, to No. 4 seed Montana on Tuesday night in the Big Sky men’s basketball tournament. A rough offensive start for coach Jase Coburn’s team led to a 15-point deficit at the half, from which the Vikings could not recover despite a valiant comeback attempt.
