Portland Public Schools Superintendent Kimberlee Armstrong talks with students at Sabin Elementary School in Northeast Portland in June of 2024. Armstrong's daughter is now working as the office manager for Procedeo, the Texas-based construction management company that won a $61 million contract to manage the modernizations of three highs schools over the next five years. Armstrong says her daughter only told her that she had applied for the job after getting hired at the firm, which has been beefing up its Portland presence.

The daughter of Portland Public Schools Superintendent Kimberlee Armstrong is now working as an office manager for Procedeo, the Texas-based construction management company that in early December won a $61 million contract to oversee $1.8 billion worth of projects for the school district over the next five years.
