Two red cards against Portland threatened to derail its home opener against their fiercest rival, but the Thorns fought back and posted a 2-0 victory against the Seattle Reign despite being shorthanded for most of the match.

Upon the Deputy’s arrival, Mast Brothers Towing had already been called, and they were in the process of removing the vehicle, which had hit a tree head-on. The driver, Larry Nicholson (59), had an Oregon driving status of Suspended Felony. As a result of the investigation, Larry Nicholson (59) was arrested on the charge of Driving While Suspended Felon and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and released. “Police action is not indicative of guilt. Cody T. Underwood (18) attempted to flee from the deputy on foot, but was caught and taken into custody on the outstanding warrant. Mr. Underwood was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked. “Police action is not indicative of guilt. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
