Description

The Portland Timbers at least tried something different against Toronto.

With news dropping earlier this week that leading scorer Antony would be out for six to eight weeks, the Timbers opened their East Coast swing with a new look. Omir Fernandez started in place of Antony on the left wing and Portland abandoned its traditional 4-3-3 formation in favor of a 4-2-2-2, with Kevin Kelsy and Felipe Mora starting together up top for the first time this season.
