Temika Gardner opened the back door of a federal vehicle, allowing a man detained by ICE agents to run off before he was tackled and taken back into custody in October, a federal prosecutor said.

A 41-year-old woman pleaded guilty Monday to assaulting a federal officer after she helped free a man detained by immigration enforcement officers in Portland last fall.
