Marshfield’s boys (10-7) are No. 9 in this week’s OSAA/Coaches 4A Prep Basketball Poll. Molalla (16-2) and Madras (15-3) are tied for first. Newport (14-3) comes in at No. 2, followed by Scappoose (13-4) and Marist Catholic (11-4) at No. 5. The OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union 3A Boys & Girls State Basketball Tournament is March 5-7. Valley Catholic (18-2), of Beaverton, is No. 1, followed by Westside Christian (18-3), of Tigard, Riverside (17-3), of Boardman, Pleasant Hill (16-4), and Cascade Christian (16-3), of Medford, at No. 5. Portland Christian (18-0) tops the 2A Poll, and Union (18-1) is No. 1 in the 1A Poll. Parkrose (15-2) leads the 5A Poll and Central Catholic (12-5), of Portland, is No. 1 in the 6A.
