The prep football season in Oregon is slowly winding down. Most leagues have just a couple of more games to play in the regular season, and the race for League Champions may come down to the wire. Friday night scores: 4A – Special Dist. 4 – unbeaten Marshfield won at Hidden Valley, Murphy, 37-8. North Bend won at Mazama, 40-14 and Henley beat visiting Ashland, 42-14. No. 3 Marshfield (3-0, 7-0) plays at co-league leader No. 5 Henley (3-0, 4-2), Friday, Oct. 24: Third-place, and ranked 16th, North Bend (2-1, 3-4) is home to fourth-place, and 17th ranked, Hidden Valley (1-2, 1-5), and fifth-place Ashland (0-3, 1-5) hosts sixth-place Mazama (0-3, 1-6).

Prep football 4A SD1: No. 2 Scappoose has taken over the lead on the North Coast, 4A Special District 1 with a 39-28 win over visiting No. 4 Tillamook Friday night. No. 13 Seaside won at No. 18 Astoria, 19-17. Gladstone/Riverdale lost at St. Helens, 33-0. This Friday, Oct. 24: Tillamook (2-1, 5-2) at Gladstone/Riverdale (0-3, 0-5). St. Helens (1-2, 2-5) at Seaside (2-1, 3-4). Scappoose (3-0, 6-1) at Astoria (1-2, 3-4).

Prep football scores from the 3A – Special District 4, Friday night: First-place Siuslaw won at fourth-place Sutherlin, 45-8. Tied for fourth, So. Umpqua won at sixth-place Brookings-Harbor, 34-21. Tied for second, Douglas won at tied for second, Coquille, 35-8. This Friday, Oct. 24: No. 17 Sutherlin (1-2, 4-3) at No. 18 Coquille (2-1, 4-3). No. 32 Brookings-Harbor (0-3, 2-5) at No. 5 Siuslaw (3-0, 5-2). No. 19 So. Umpqua (1-2, 4-3) at No. 12 Douglas (2-1, 3-4).
Prep FB SD2 - 3A - Central Coast
Prep football scores from the 3A Central Coast, SP2: Taft beat visiting Amity, 35-0. Scio won at Newport, 49-0. Next Friday, Oct. 24: Tied for second-place, Taft (4-1, 5-2), ranked 11th, hosts seventh-place Newport (1-4, 1-6), ranked 34th, at Lincoln City.

Prep football scores from the 2A, South Coast, SP4: Co-league leader Bandon beat visiting third-place Myrtle Pt., 50-38. Non-league, Reedsport (3-2) downed visiting Mapleton, 66-12. This Friday, Oct. 24: Fourth-place Gold Beach (0-2, 4-3), ranked 12th, at sixth-ranked Bandon (2-0, 6-0). Co-league leader Oakland (2-0, 4-2), and fifth-ranked, at eighth-ranked Myrtle Pt. Prep football scores from 1A SD3: Second-ranked Elkton won at eighth-ranked Powers, 53-7. Friday, Oct. 24: Second-place North Lake (3-1, 4-2) at First-place Elkton (4-0, 5-1). Saturday, Oct. 25: Third-place Powers (3-1, 4-3) at fifth-place Gilchrist (2-2, 3-3).
