Stayton (9-1) is on top of this week’s OSAA/Coach’s 4A girls’ basketball poll. The Eagles are followed by Baker (11-2), Philomath (6-6), Seaside (8-3), and Henley (7-4) at No. 5. Marist Catholic (6-3) is No. 6 and Tillamook (9-1) No. 7. North Bend (10-2) comes in at No. 9. The OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union 3A Basketball Tournament is March 5-7 in the Bay Area. Vale (12-1) is No. 1, followed by Amity (10-2), Creswell (9-4); Banks (7-4) and Pleasant Hill (10-3) at No. 5. Taft (10-4) is No. 9 and Coquille (8-4) is No. 10. Regis (11-0), of Stayton, is No. 1 in the 2A Poll, followed by Westside Christian (9-2), of Tigard, then Bandon (11-2), Nestucca (9-2) is No. 7. North Clackamas Christian (10-0) is No. 1 in the 1A Poll. Springfield (10-1) tops the 5A Poll and Tualatin (9-1) leads the 6A Poll.
