Marshfield’s boys’ wrestlers competed at the Phil Smith Memorial Invitational, Junction City, Saturday. Eleven teams participated. Marshfield was second to Cottage Grove, 226.5 to 201.0. JC was fifth, Siuslaw/Mapleton ninth and Taft tenth. For the Pirates, Garron Castro took first at 113. Tristan Henry was first at 120. Alexander Widdicombe was third at 126. Charlie Morton was second at 132. Joey Williams was third at 144. Wylie Robinson took third at 165. Skyler Folau was first at 285. Fifteen girls’ teams competed in the Invitational. St. Helens was first, followed by Sisters and Cottage Grove. Tillamook was fourth, Marshfield tenth, Taft 13th, Junction City 14th and Waldport 15th. For Marshfield: Olivia Shield took first at 155. Azura Beckett was second at 170.
