The Oregon Schools Activities Association (OSAA) allows its member schools to start playing Winter Sports as of Wednesday, Dec. 3rd, for boys and girls basketball, wrestling, swimming, dance & cheer.  North Bend’s boys’ basketball team will open at Douglas, Winston, Thursday, Dec. 4, while the Bulldog girls play on Friday, Dec. 5, at Cascade Christian, Medford.  Marshfield’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams open Saturday, Dec. 6th, Mac Court, on the UO Campus, Eugene, against Churchill.  Coquille’s boys and girls will host the Winter Lake Classic, Friday & Saturday, Dec. 5th & 6th, with Junction City, Toledo & Siuslaw.  Also on Dec. 3rd: Brookings-Harbor & Camas Valley at the Bandon Jamboree; Glide at Reedsport; Taft at Siuslaw; Myrtle Pt. at So. Umpqua.
