At the 3A/2A/1A District Four Cross-Country Championships, Thursday, Valley of the Rogue State Park, Southern Oregon, Coquille’s Ella Henthorn took first-place on the 5K course (18:12.10), while Bandon’s Jael Legutki was third (19:11.80) and Siuslaw’s Adylin Holbrook took seventh (19:58.60).  Gold Beach’s Coco Plaep was 16th (21:.30).  Siuslaw won the team race with 58-points, Glide was second (63), followed by Bandon (84) in third and Coquille fifth (107).  In the varsity boy’s 5K race:  Siuslaw went 2-3-4 with Henry Stone leading the way in second place (15:59.20).  Bentley Nelson was third (16:07.20) and Ezra King fourth (16:34.40).  Siuslaw won district with 29-points.  In the 2A/1A race:  Bandon went 1-2-3-4 with Beckett Pahls winning in 16:02.20), followed by Sawyer Miller (16:49.60), Noah Brown (17:11.70) and Jonah Brown (17:13.10).  Myrtle Pt.’s Eli Nicholson was seventh (17:36.00).  Bandon won with 16-points.  At the 4A SkyEm Lg. Boys’ District meet, Thursday, Lane CC, Eugene, Marshfield’s Jaxson Stovall was second (15:49.84).  North Bend’s Angelo Pedrini was fifth (17:01.70).  Charlie Hatch, MHS, eighth (17:33.63).  Cottage Grove won with 29-points, followed by Marshfield with 59, North Bend was fifth with 125.  In the girl’s 5K race:  North Bend’s Addison Horning was fourth (19:30.93), the Bulldogs’ Ellie Massey was sixth (19:39.76) and Lauren Wolfe eighth (20:11.95).  Marshfield’s Bella Cox was ninth (20:35.88).  Cottage Grove (43) took the District title with North Bend second (58).  Marshfield was fifth (94).  The OSAA State Championships are set for Saturday, Nov. 8, Lane CC, Eugene.
