The Washington County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference Sunday at 2 p.m. to discuss a suspicious death investigation in Forest Grove.

The sheriff’s office says the press conference will provide more details on an incident that took place on Northwest Otis Lane.

Forest Grove Fire and Rescue were called to a home on Otis Lane Saturday morning to respond to a reported house fire, as first reported by KATU 2 News. Once on scene, it was discovered that a car was on fire. Due to suspicious activity at the scene, fire crews called law enforcement.

Multiple police vehicles were still parked on Northwest Otis Lane on Sunday afternoon. Various farms in remote Washington County surround the area. OPB was not able to get a view of the potential crime scene.

Sunday’s press conference will be streamed on the Washington County Sheriff’s Office YouTube page.
