Coos Bay, OR - On July 29th 2026, during day shift, Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in progress in the 91000 Block of Spaw Lane, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420.

During an investigation, James P. Brogan (64) was contacted. As a result of the investigation, Mr. Brogan was arrested on the charge of Harassment Domestic. As a result of the arrest and Mr. Brogan’s actions during it, he was charged additionally with Assault of a Public Safety Officer and Resisting Arrest.

James P. Brogan (64) was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody.
