***Press Release*** Case #: S2026-01432 Coos Bay, OR - On September 7th 2026, a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 63000 Block of Jerome Road, just south of Coos Bay, to a report of a disturbance in progress. The deputy contacted the parties involved, including Wade G. Brown (32). During an investigation, it was learned that Mr. Brown was in violation of a court-ordered restraining order. As a result, Mr. Brown was arrested on the charge of Violation of a Restraining Order. Wade G. Brown (32) was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody pending court appearance. “Police action is not indicative of guilt. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
