Circuit Judge Nickolas Brajcich said the federal government's intent to withhold confidential information impeded a 14-year-old defendant's constitutional right to challenge his accusers.

A judge on Wednesday set over a hearing until next week on whether a 14-year-old Clatskanie boy accused of plotting a mass shooting at a Washington mall will be released pending trial.
