Description
Prostate Cancer Awareness Month (a.k.a. No-Shave November) used to be our team’s excuse to grow glorious (and occasionally rowdy) beards in the name of awareness. Now that beards are part of our everyday dress code, we’re still committed to the cause, just a little less hairy now.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, but awareness and early action can save lives. Risk factors include age, family history, and lifestyle. While some risks, like genetics, can’t be changed, things like diet, exercise, and regular screenings, can be managed.
Many prostate cancers grow slowly, but some are aggressive. That’s why early detection matters. Talk to your healthcare provider about when to begin screening -especially if you're over 50 or have a higher risk.
