Description
Several earthquakes were recorded off the Oregon Coast. On Sunday morning, April 19, a 2.9-magnitude was measured west to northwest of Bandon. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, it was located on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. The other one was a 2.8-magnitude located west of Petrolia, CA near the southern end of the two fault lines near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. A 3.1-magnitude quake followed the 2.9, west of Bandon, also on Sunday. At the Southern Junction, early Monday, April 20, a 4.7-magntidue was recorded west of Petrolia, CA, and a 2.7-magnitude followed, also west of Petrolia, CA.
