Description
A 2.7-magnitude earthquake was recorded at the Southern End of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Friday, Aug. 14. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located South of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Sunday, a 2.6-magnitude was recorded at the Southern End, west of Ferndale, CA.
