Description
A 3.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded on the outer fault line, of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, west of Coos Co., Saturday, Nov. 29. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was at a depth of six-miles west to northwest of Bandon. On Sunday, a pair of earthquakes were recorded at the southern end of the two fault lines. According to the USGS, both were on the outer fault line, a 2.6-magnitude, west of Ferndale, CA and a 2.9-magnitude, west of Petrolia, CA, both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
