Description
A 3.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded on land, just north of Cape Mendocino, Northern California, Friday, Dec. 5. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located south to southwest of Fortuna, CA. On Saturday, Dec. 6, a 2.7-magnitude earthquake was recorded near the southern end of the two fault lines, southeast of Petrolia, CA, also near Cape Mendocino.
