More seismic activity off the South Coast, Friday, Oct. 10. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded between the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, west to southwest of Port Orford in Curry Co. It was followed by a 2.7-magnitude, both at a depth of six-miles. On Saturday, Oct. 11, a 2.7-magntidue quake was recorded in the same location and at the same depth. There was also a 2.6-magnitude quake recorded at the southern junction of the two fault lines, southeast of Petrolia, CA, early Monday morning, Oct. 13, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
