A recent Washington Post column on driverless taxis that was published in The Oregonian raises valid comparisons between autonomous taxis and human-driven single occupancy vehicles, called “SOVs,” (“The single most important test to judge robotaxis by,” Dec. 12). But the author needs to put his SOV in reverse to see the big picture.
