At last, the Portland City Council is organized to govern, and it looks like the new president is a good choice (“Fractious Portland City Council finally breaks impasse; elects ‘reluctant hero’ as new president‚” Jan. 14). Councilor Jamie Dunphy didn’t want the job but does care about our city. Good luck!
