Description
It is sad to see the chairs, tables and supplies thrown into the stairwells inside Portland State University by protesters who claim to be students, (“Negotiations fail in Portland State library standoff’s 3rd day; campus remains closed,” May 1). I remember when PSU first came into existence and how small the classrooms were, lacking enough desks to accommodate the students. Now the walls are covered with graffiti, and there is trash and broken glass on the floors.
