I am a 93-year-old alumnus of Jefferson High School who is very concerned about the possibility of a name change, and there are many other graduates who agree. Jeff was a great, diverse school of all races and religions and we cared for each other. We all got a great education. Jefferson students have served in war and many of them gave their lives. Jeff grads have excelled in all phases of life including education, medicine, athletics, government and business.
