Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr is weaponizing the agency’s power over broadcast networks to censor media coverage of the war with Iran that President Donald Trump doesn’t like. The FCC should be an independent, nonpartisan agency with a mandate to regulate radio, television, wire, satellite, cable and internet communications. Using the FCC as a way to target Trump’s opposition is a massive misuse of the agency.
