The public shame hanging over the Washington County Board of Commissioners was on full display again last month, when Chair Kathryn Harrington issued a feeble apology for confronting yet another county employee with her “stern tone of voice and concise words,” (“Board chair apologizes for leaving county employee in tears, says she’s stepped back from key duties,” March 19).
