As I engage in efforts to address our homelessness crisis, I’m frustrated with the pace of progress, yet grateful to those who are making a difference. So it was disappointing to see competent, effective leadership get ignored when The Oregonian/OregonLive failed to endorse Susheela Jayapal for U.S. Congress, (“Editorial endorsement May 2024: Elect Maxine Dexter in Democratic primary for 3rd Congressional District,” April 17).
