The Wall Street Journal reported that Paramount has asked a federal judge to require Oregon and 11 other states, along with the Writers Guild of America, to post a $1.88 billion bond for delaying its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, (“Oregon and 11 states sue to stop Paramount-Warner Bros. merger, say it could jack up cable and movie prices,” July 13).
