The Oregonian/Oregon Live Editorial Board correctly notes that the role of Portland Public Schools board members is to advocate for students rather than rubberstamp proposals from PPS administrators, (“Editorial: Rubberstamping isn’t oversight, PPS Board,” Nov. 23). Sadly, their track record shows they do otherwise.
