In a recent letter to the editor decrying political intimidation, Ciatta Thompson – a Republican candidate for Oregon House District 33 - describes people contacting the venue where she was to campaign, urging it to cancel the event, (“Readers respond: Political intimidation in Portland becoming the norm,” April 19).She describes a man silently recording people who attended. And she describes a social media attack by a political opponent. She asks Portland to condemn these tactics. I agree. Condemn them everywhere they appear.
