Description
As an Oregon forester and former wildland firefighter, I strongly support the Fix Our Forests Act. After a century of suppression, Oregon’s forests are dangerously overgrown. This condition is aggravated by a changing climate and is putting our communities at increasing risk. FOFA provides the tools needed to reduce hazardous fuels and restore forest resilience, which is essential to safeguarding our state.
