As fluoride becomes more contentious nationally, it’s brought to the forefront Oregon’slong and complicated history with fluoride. Oregon ranks 48th of 50 states for communitywater fluoridation. That surprises many Oregon newcomers, because our state has led in so many other scientific and community-based initiatives.
