At the Winter Olympics, we saw international crowds supporting good efforts, empathizing with setbacks and celebrating amazing feats regardless of nation. We did not see racist jeering, jingoistic bragging and bullying or the infantile name-calling that some of our national leaders prefer to civil discourse.
