Description
I’m a Deschutes County Commissioner, and in my free time, I serve on the Oregon Transportation Commission. Due to this, I have developed a detailed understanding of how money flows and where it flows through our transportation system – from the bottom up and the top down. When the Legislature passed HB 2017 eight years ago, it committed to constructing major new capital projects, but the bill did not provide sustainable funding for basic road maintenance and operations
