When my family friend Victor Cruz was wrongfully detained by ICE in October 2025, Hillsboro City Councilor Kipperlyn Sinclair showed us what leadership looks like, (“An Oregon man was on the path to citizenship. Now he’s in ICE detention, fighting to stay,” Nov. 6).
